Accident at work – Will I put my employer out of business?

Normally such claims are covered by an insurance company. This acts in the same way as your car insurer would cover you if you caused damage to another car or caused personal injury to another car driver.
The bottom line is that your employer will not have to pay. Your employer’s insurance may go up the following year alright, but there is not much you can do about this.
